Tersh Wins: AL's Hottest
The Hottest Hitters in the AL
LAB REPORTS
With many things in life, timing is everything. Adding and dropping Tersh players is no different. When looking to fill the holes left by injuries or under performing players, you want to be able to capitalize on hot streaks and you don't want to be the one late to the party. This is obviously much easier said than done. When I personally evaluate Tersh, I like to take a close look at how players are performing over the past 30 days, the past 2 weeks, and in some cases even the past week. I want to try to catch more than lightning in my bottle, and find players who have been hot for weeks, because those might be the guys who stick around your lineup making contributions across different categories.
In this Tersh report, I have tried to identify the players who are hot and may stay that way. I have given a simple grade (+, ✔, – ) across categories in how I feel the player will contribute moving forward, not necessarily what they have contributed overall on the season. This way you can get a better sense of category contributions.
The following table shows players who have been solid (Top 200 on Yahoo) over the last month and the last 2 weeks...

The next table shows players who were outside the top 200 over the last month, but have performed well over the last 2 weeks...

I wouldn't necessarily be waking up at 3 AM Eastern time to pick these guys up, but I would definitely keep an eye on them to see if they sustain their success.
