NL Bullpen Battles 6/19/26
LAB REPORTS
Friday Breakdown. Short and sweet.
CHC
1. Jacob Webb
1a. Caleb Thielbar
Palencia to the IL again. Not my pick but Webb got the 1st chance and converted. He gets the nod. I still want to see one more conversion before I call him the closer.
CIN
1. Tony Santillan
You can hate it but it is true. Santillan is option 1. If he can hit 96 with his fastball he will have success. If he is around 94 he is in trouble. Not much behind him either.
SFG
1. Caleb Kilian
2. Ryan Walker
3. Dylan Smith
Winn hit the IL and they named Kilian the guy. Walker is back so he could be lurking. If Kilian converts he keeps the job if not Walker might get another chance.
COL
1. Antonio Senzatela
1a. Jaden Hill
2. Victor Vodnik
Senzatela is the bulk guy but the best reliever. Hill converted a save this week. They activated Vodnik. Anyone any night but my senses say Vodnik will get a chance this week.
WAS
1. Clayton Beeter
1a. Gus Varland
1b. Richard Lovelady
Zero change here this week. Varland did pick up a save and pitch three 9th innings. I am probably being stubborn leaving Dicky Love in but a committee needs a LHP.
MIL
1. Trevor Megill
They trusted Megill and he picked up a save this week. Fair to say he is the guy for the time being. Check back in when he blows his next one.
