New Closer Ranks!!!

Couple guys claimed the job and one team is left with a big ?

Lab Ranks (#)🧪

Tier 1 - The Two Best (8/25)

  1. Mason Miller (#1)
  2. Bryan Baker (#5)

Still the class of the NL and AL.

Tier 2 - Pretty Much Studs (8/25)
3. Jhoan Duran (#2)
4. Josh Hader (#3)
5. Aroldis Chapman (#11)
6. David Bednar (#8)
7. Louis Varland (#4)
8. Cade Smith (#7)
9. Raisel Iglesias (#15)
10. Trevor Megill (#10)
11. Jacob Latz (#9)
12. Andrés Muñoz (#6)
13. Riley O'Brien (#16)

This group is just too good to see much movement. Smith drops a couple spots but it is just nitpicking as his ERA is a little higher that the guys in front of him. You really cant go wrong with any of these guys.

Tier 3 The Mids (8/25)
14. Tanner Scott (#21)
15. Emilio Pagán (#13)
16. Yoendrys Gomez (#22)
17. Hogan Harris (#25)

Scott jumps into the top of the group since he should be closing for a couple weeks at least. Kenley falls out for being inconsistent. I still like the rest of the group though they occasionally struggle.

Tier 4 The Single Sick Pups (8/25)
18. Mason Montgomery (#14)
19. Ben Joyce (#19)
20. Jacob Webb (#18)
21. Kenley Jansen (#17)
22. Kodai Senga (#28)
23. Grant Taylor (#20)
24. Dylan Smith (#24)
25. Jordan Romano (#34)

Montgomery and Joyce make the big jumps as they have won the jobs. Both guys could be on the rise if they pick up a couple saves in a row. Webb is the big question mark here as he should be higher but just blew a save and Palencia is back. Taylor finally gets the call as the guy in my ranks but will it last? Rest of the group is risky at best.

Tier 5 Two Man Sick Pup Groups (8/25)
26. Andrew Kittredge (#29)
26a. Rico Garcia (#30)
27. Steven Cruz (#27)
27a. Nate Pearson (#39)

These are the two duos. I like the top guy in the group but the managers seem to prefer using both. This group is cut down this week and will grow next week if history repeats itself.

Tier 6 The Swamp (8/25)
28. Justin Martinez (#36)
28a. Brandyn Garcia (#26)
28b. Kevin Ginkel (#68)
29. Clayton Beeter (#31)
29a. Orlando Ribalta (#47)
29b. Tom Cosgrove (N/A)
30. Michael Petersen (#62)
30a. Josh Ekness (N/A)
30b. Calvin Faucher (#72)

Tough to put ARI here but they are still using a committee. I do think JMart will be given the chance to do what Joyce did and win the job over the next week or two. The Nats remain a joke. MIA joins this mix with the Fairbanks injury last night. If he hits the IL which I am assuming it feels like a mess in the 9th. If Pete doesn't hit the IL he jumps back to the Mids.
