Here’s all your NFL news from around the league for 10/6, pulled together from some of the most reliable sources in the game. Everything you need in one snapshot, so you don’t have to spend your night searching for it yourself. My mission is simple: make your life easier and leave the hard work to me. Now enjoy!

🦅 Philadelphia Eagles

  • Saquon Barkley is week-to-week with his hamstring injury and Week 5 looks unlikely. The injury isn't considered long-term; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT estimates roughly 2–3 weeks, but that's a medical projection. (Ian Rapoport; Mike Garafolo; Jeff McLane; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
  • Tank Bigsby was placed on IR Tuesday with an abdominal injury, further thinning Philadelphia's backfield. (Zach Berman; RotoWire)
  • Will Shipley and Carson Steele now become important names to monitor, but Philadelphia hasn't declared a replacement starter for Barkley.
  • DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Hollywood Brown are dealing with hamstring, knee and ankle injuries, respectively. No additional return timelines were provided. (Dave Zangaro)
  • Lane Johnson announced his retirement, while Cam Jurgens entered concussion protocol after reporting symptoms. Combined with Landon Dickerson's absence, Philadelphia suddenly has major offensive-line concerns. (Adam Schefter; Mike Garafolo)

🌊 Seattle Seahawks

  • Seattle will NOT sign Joe Mixon after his physical. Mixon remains a free agent; importantly, the reporting does not establish that he "failed" the physical. (Adam Schefter; Brady Henderson)
  • Seattle signed Dontae McMillan to the practice squad and Robert Henry Jr. to the active roster as it works through its depleted backfield. (Adam Schefter; Jordan Schultz)
  • Zach Charbonnet will not be activated for Week 5, while Jadarian Price remains on IR. Emanuel Wilson, George Holani and Henry remain the immediate names to monitor. (Gregg Bell; Mike Macdonald; RotoWire)

🐦‍⬛ Baltimore Ravens

  • 🚨 Lamar Jackson now appears unlikely to play Week 5. Earlier reporting left an outside chance, but Tyler Huntley is positioned to start if Lamar can't go. Mueller projects a possible Week 6–7 return, but that's medical analysis rather than a team timetable. (Ian Rapoport; Mike Garafolo; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
  • Durham Smythe suffered a torn Achilles and will miss the remainder of the season. (Ian Rapoport)
  • Zay Flowers remains the centerpiece of Baltimore's passing attack, with the Ravens finding creative ways to manufacture favorable one-on-one matchups for him. (John Owning; Sleeper)

⚜️ New Orleans Saints

  • Alvin Kamara suffered a knee injury, went to the medical tent, was listed questionable and then returned in the third quarter. He scored both before and after the injury. (Jeff Nowak; Saints PR; Katherine Terrell)
  • Kamara handled 48% of RB opportunities and every inside-the-10 opportunity before sitting the final 17 plays with the game decided. Kendre Miller was at 33%, while CJ Donaldson continued handling much of the passing-down work.
  • Chris Olave left late after taking a hit to his knee and limped off. Mueller believes it may be a mild hyperextension and is optimistic about Week 5, but no diagnosis has been confirmed. Olave still ran 94% of routes with a 25% targets-per-route rate. (Ari Meirov; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
  • 📈 DeVaughn Vele continues emerging, running 88% of routes while scoring a touchdown and converting a fourth down.
  • Juwan Johnson ran 75% of routes with a 21.1% targets-per-route rate. Noah Fant was inactive, while Jordyn Tyson's earliest reported return remains Week 7. (RotoWire)
  • Tyler Shough briefly appeared bothered by his throwing hand but received no observed trainer treatment. His season splits remain fascinating: 278 yards/2 TD in first halves versus 634 yards/6 TD in second halves. (Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT; Ryan Paganetti)

🍑 Atlanta Falcons

  • 🔥 Brian Robinson Jr. finished with 15 touches, 67 yards and THREE touchdowns. Bijan/Brian split opportunities 57/43 overall, with Brian getting 67% of the inside-the-10 work while Bijan maintained the stronger receiving/third-down role. (Underdog; NFL)
  • Bijan Robinson remains the lead back, but Brian's usage continues strengthening his value as a premium handcuff with standalone involvement.
  • 🔥 Drake London has 14 catches for 290 yards across Michael Penix Jr.'s two starts. Monday he ran 100% of routes with a 28.6% targets-per-route rate and absurd 4.57 yards per route. (Daniel Flick; SumerSports)
  • ⚠️ Kyle Pitts ran routes on only 43% of dropbacks despite producing efficiently when involved. The route volume is becoming a legitimate fantasy concern. (Spotrac)
  • Jahan Dotson ran 57% of routes and scored, while Zachariah Branch was at 29% and Olamide Zaccheaus 33%. London remains far ahead of the rest of this receiving room.

🏴‍☠️ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Tampa Bay wants to create more opportunities for Sean Tucker and Kenneth Gainwell. Zac Robinson praised Tucker's physical running while explaining that unfavorable down-and-distance situations disrupted the intended rotation. (River Wells; Zac Robinson)

🐾 Carolina Panthers

  • Trevor Etienne is expected to return from IR following Carolina's bye. (Dave Canales via Mike Kaye)

🐻 Chicago Bears

  • Caleb Williams is expected to miss another week, leaving Tyson Bagent to start against Green Bay. Chicago's offense has gotten the ball out considerably faster with Bagent than it did with Williams earlier this season. (RotoWire)
  • Kyle Monangai remains day-to-day. Chicago averages 4.8 red-zone trips per game but has converted only 42.1% into touchdowns, leaving plenty of potential scoring opportunity if Monangai maintains his expanded role. (RotoWire; Josh Norris)
  • Scotty Miller signed with Chicago's practice squad. (Adam Schefter)

🪖 Washington Commanders

  • 📈 Jayden Daniels is on track to start Week 5 against the Giants and is set to practice. (Mike Garafolo; Dan Quinn)
  • Terry McLaurin's Week 5 status remains uncertain. Antonio Williams is a name to monitor if McLaurin misses another game. (John Keim; Josh Norris)
  • Rachaad White is expected back at practice, while the Commanders' backfield hierarchy remains unsettled enough that Austin Ekeler, Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Kaytron Allen all remain worth monitoring. (RotoWire; Chris Wecht/Fantasy Points Data; Matt Waldman)

🌵 Arizona Cardinals

  • ⚠️ Jeremiyah Love's RIGHT ankle is now the concern, separate from his previous left-ankle issue. Tyler Allgeier handled roughly the final 10 minutes, and continued goal-line involvement for Allgeier is worth monitoring. (Hayden Winks; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. has posted only a 7.4% win rate against man coverage, lowest among 51 qualifying receivers. Arizona also struggled badly when the Giants increased their blitz rate. (Theo Mackie; Fantasy Points Data)

🧀 Green Bay Packers

  • Chris Brooks continues undergoing testing on his injured ankle. If Brooks misses time, MarShawn Lloyd becomes particularly interesting in PPR formats, although Green Bay has not promised him the replacement workload. (Rob Demovsky; Jason B. Hirschhorn/Adam Stenavich)

🐆 Jacksonville Jaguars

  • 👀 Josh Cameron has caught five passes this season—and every one has resulted in either a touchdown or first down. The sample is tiny, but his receiving/YAC ability and big-play potential are worth monitoring. (John Shipley)
  • Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers remain buy-low considerations, with Jacksonville's slow pace and run-heavy approach contributing to their disappointing production.

⚔️ Tennessee Titans

  • 🔥 Carnell Tate has commanded 21 targets for 203 yards over his last two games. The breakout continues. (Sleeper)

🟤 Cleveland Browns

  • Dillon Gabriel has been designated to return to practice. (Adam Schefter)

⭐ Dallas Cowboys

  • Dak Prescott is fine after having his throwing hand stepped on Sunday. Dallas has no current concern about the injury. (Jon Machota)
  • Dallas continues scheming CeeDee Lamb into favorable one-on-one matchups, including opportunities against linebackers. Tyler Smith's Thursday participation will depend on how comfortable he is with his thumb. (John Owning; Jon Machota)

🏔️ Denver Broncos

  • 🚨 Pat Bryant is expected to land on IR with his ankle injury and miss at least 4 weeks. (Adam Schefter; RotoWire)
  • Bo Nix's rushing production has fallen sharply, with his scramble rate down to 2.1% from roughly 7% over the previous two seasons and his yards per carry down to 4.33 from 7+. (Chris Wecht; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)

🐂 Houston Texans

  • 📈 Houston expects to open Tank Dell's practice window. That's an encouraging step, but opening the window does NOT mean he's been cleared to play. (DeMeco Ryans via TexansCommenter)

🐎 Indianapolis Colts

  • Quez Watkins signed with Indianapolis' practice squad. (Adam Schefter)
  • Daniel Jones' recent efficiency has become a concern, with the absence of a healthy Alec Pierce potentially contributing. Any expectation of a midseason rebound remains projection. (Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT; Ian Hartitz)

🌉 San Francisco 49ers

  • Mike Evans finished Sunday's game despite continued rib discomfort, and trainers reported no setback. Kyle Shanahan hopes Evans feels better this week. (Kyle Shanahan via David Lombardi)
  • 📊 San Francisco successfully attacked Denver's heavier defensive fronts through the air. Brock Purdy went 12/16 at 9.2 YPA against base defense compared with 7/13 at 5.4 against nickel/dime.

🗽 New York Giants

  • 🚀 Jameis Winston was lethal throwing deep: 5-of-7 on passes traveling 20+ air yards, averaging 23.7 yards per attempt and +2.35 EPA/dropback.

🟣 Minnesota Vikings

  • Justin Jefferson is doing well after experiencing initial ankle soreness, but Minnesota still needs to evaluate his practice capacity and Week 5 availability. Mueller leans doubtful this week but near full health after the upcoming bye; that's a medical projection. (Kevin O'Connell; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)

✈️ New York Jets

  • Breece Hall's return remains uncertain. Mueller projects a possible Week 6 return while leaning toward Week 7, but there is no team-confirmed return date. (Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)

🏹 Kansas City Chiefs

  • 👀 The door remains open for a Tyreek Hill return to Kansas City following Tyquan Thornton's injury, but there is no agreement in place. Thornton is expected to miss roughly 3–4 months. (Mike Garafolo; RotoWire)

🐅 Cincinnati Bengals

  • Tee Higgins remains day-to-day, while Ja'Marr Chase's Week 5 status is around 50/50 in Mueller's medical projection. Dohnte Meyers becomes an important replacement name if either misses time. (RotoWire; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT; Hayden Winks)
  • 👀 Cincinnati is considering changes to its running game following Monday's film review. No specific personnel or workload adjustment has been announced yet. (Paul Dehner Jr.)

⚡ Los Angeles Chargers

  • Ladd McConkey's status remains murky. Jim Harbaugh now described the foot injury as day-to-day, conflicting with the earlier week-to-week characterization. Neither report guarantees Week 5 availability. (Jim Harbaugh via Kris Rhim)

🟡 Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Rico Dowdle revealed his toe dislocated twice in Week 2, including once being put back into place so he could continue playing. He's progressing, but if he remains out, Jaylen Warren should continue carrying the substantially larger role. (Will Graves/AP; RotoWire)

🦁 Detroit Lions

  • Dan Campbell called Detroit's recent play "average football" and stressed that the problems are team-wide rather than solely defensive. No specific personnel changes were announced. (Dan Campbell via 97.1 The Ticket)

🐏 Los Angeles Rams

  • Kyren Williams' receiving involvement has been a pleasant surprise. He's already within 15 catches and 108 receiving yards of matching his best receiving season—with 13 games remaining. (Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
  • Puka Nacua drew 12 actual targets against 16 expected targets in the captured opportunity model, another indication of just how large his role remains.

☠️ Las Vegas Raiders

  • Ashton Jeanty leads the league with 10 negative runs. Doug Farrar questioned his vision, while Mueller argued unblocked defenders are a major part of the problem. (Doug Farrar; Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
