Milwaukee Brewers southpaw Kyle Harrison continued his 2026 dominance on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants. He went 5 ⅔ innings, allowing four hits, one earned run, two walks, and 12 strikeouts. 

He generated 19 whiffs, 13 of which came on his four-seamer, and had a 37 percent CSW. In this revenge game against his former team, his velocity was also up 0.7 mph over his season average. On the season, he is now 7-1 with a stellar 1.57 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and a 73/16 K/BB ratio in 57 ⅓ innings pitched. While some of his ERA estimators showcase some signs of regression (3.09 xERA, 2.46 FIP, 3.05 SIERA), all of that data suggests that he is one of the better waiver wire pickups of the year or a late-round pick. The Brewers have a tendency to squeeze out most of their pitchers, and it’s no different for Harrison, who was a former top prospect in the Giants organization before being traded to the Boston Red Sox last season, before joining the Brewers in 2026. Although Harrison only features a three-pitch arsenal for the most part, he’s generating an impressive 28.6 percent whiff rate (74th percentile) to go along with a 29.6 percent strikeout rate (92nd percentile) and a 28.9 percent hard-hit rate (93rd percentile). Fantasy managers should continue to start Harrison with confidence.
