LAB REPORTS
This is the best list you'll find after the deadline. Careful in the swamp. Like normal the top of the list is very strong.
Lab Ranks (#)🧪
Tier 1 - The Two Best (8/4)
- Mason Miller (#1)
- Bryan Baker (#6)
The best in the AL and the NL.
Tier 2 - Pretty Much Studs (8/4)
3. Jhoan Duran (#2)
4. Josh Hader (#4)
5. Aroldis Chapman (#14)
6. Cade Smith (#5)
7. Raisel Iglesias (#11)
8. David Bednar (#9)
9. Trevor Megill (#8)
10. Andrés Muñoz (#7)
11. Louis Varland (#3)
12. Jacob Latz (#10)
Smith is falling a little since his chances are down. Latz and Varland have the same issue as their teams didn't wave the white flag but they didn't buy either. Chapman has been a dog.
Tier 3 The Mids (8/4)
13. Riley O'Brien (#15)
14. Edwin Díaz (N/A)
15. Emilio Pagán (#17)
16. Pete Fairbanks (#17)
17. Devin Williams (#13)
Diaz's stay here should be brief. Just waiting to see him get some more innings in. The rest of the group is pretty safe but are prone to the occasional blowup. We lost Sewald from here last week.
Tier 4 The Single Sick Pups (8/4)
18. Brandyn Garcia (#70)
19. Kenley Jansen (#20)
20. Steven Cruz (#33)
21. Hogan Harris (#33)
22. Jordan Romano (#54)
Can any of these guys get enough saves or hold the job? If they can they could move up to the Mids. Three are pretty safe in the 9th and the other two have pitched well.
Tier 5 Two Man Sick Pup Groups (8/4)
23. Jacob Webb (#21)
23a. Ryan Zeferjahn (#24)
24. Yoendrys Gomez (#24)
24a. Jeff Hoffman (#48)
25. Dylan Smith (#24)
25a. Jason Foley (#96)
26. Samy Natera Jr. (#52)
26a. Ben Joyce (N/A)
These teams should just be choosing between the two. I like the top guy as always. Joyce makes a surprise return from the IL after no news for weeks. MIN is very interesting.
Tier 6 The Swamp (8/4)
27. Luke Weaver (#31)
27a. Mason Montgomery (#26)
27b. Gregory Soto (#35)
28. Clayton Beeter (#25)
28a. Yovanny Cruz (N/A)
28b. Will Dion (N/A)
29. Andrew Kittredge (#37)
29a. Rico Garcia (#67)
29b. Yennier Cano (#18)
30. Grant Taylor (#16)
30a. Sean Newcomb (#46)
30b. Bryan Hudson (#76)
We have our four swamp teams who I really have no idea. Like normal the guy I list first is the guy I like the best. Some of these teams will stay as is due to the managers strategy and others will have one member or two take over and move out of the swamp.
